Black Vector and Hermes are operated by Sergey Skripko. For privacy questions or a deletion request, contact sergey@black-vector.com.
This policy covers black-vector.com and Hermes, an AI assistant that communicates with users through Telegram and can connect services that a user explicitly chooses to connect.
To provide Hermes, we process the Telegram account identifier needed to associate a chat with its assistant, messages and files a user sends to Hermes, and service configuration needed for the features a user requests. We do not ask for or store a user's Telegram password.
When a user connects a third-party service, we process the authorization token and only the data needed to provide that connection. For example, a Google Sheets connection may process the selected spreadsheet, its requested ranges, and approved updates. Connection tokens are stored encrypted.
We use this data to operate Hermes, answer the user's requests, provide connected-service features, secure the service, and diagnose reliability issues. We do not sell personal data or use connected-service data for advertising.
When a user connects Google Sheets, Black Vector accesses Google user data only to provide the user-facing Google Sheets features requested in Hermes. We request access in context, use the minimum permissions needed for the feature, and do not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, or sale to data brokers. The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The service currently uses infrastructure hosted by Hetzner in Finland. Depending on a user's chosen features, data may also be processed by Telegram, Google, Yandex, and OpenAI. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
After a clear request to delete personal data, we aim to delete the user's Hermes environment and associated personal data within 7 days, unless retention is required by law. A user can also disconnect a connected service to revoke its access.
black-vector.com uses Google advertising and analytics tags. They may use cookies or similar technologies to measure website activity and advertising performance.
You can ask what data we hold, request correction or deletion, withdraw access to a connected service, or ask a privacy question by emailing sergey@black-vector.com.
